About Daphnee Tuzlak

I am 24 and love whitewater kayaking and bad jokes about geology. I grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon where I started paddling on the Yukon River when I was 12.  I’ve worked many summers as a raft guide, a kayak instructor and most recently as a geological field assistant. I recently started a Masters degree in Geology at Utah State University in Logan, Utah where I’ll be studying how rivers carve landscapes, and I’ll doing fieldwork on the Snake River between Hoback and Alpine, Wyoming. My other hobbies include: attaining, mountain biking, road trips, gchat, CATZ and geofests.
